This spacious apartment feels more like living on the first floor, due to its disctinctly elevated position, and has a stylish vintage air.
Upon entering, there is a comfortable living and dining room area with a lovely window facing the road.
On the left, one finds the first bright bedroom benefiting from the light offered by a generous window and next to this there is the kitchen, also with views of the front street, with plenty of space for a dining table seating six and an extra storage room.
On the right of the main hall, there is the second bedroom with fitted closets and a window providing natural light.
This central apartment has a bathroom with bathtub, which requires renovation, and central heating.
Make this your lovely new home and stay connected to the life going on outside in the wonderful city that is Chania today!
Nea Chora (which means 'new town') was the first modern part of Chania to be built outside the Venetian fortification wall in the early 18th century. In a sense it is the oldest part of the modern town.
Nea Chora has a fishing harbour and a good sandy beach which is popular with local people. It is in effect Chania's town beach and it is a nice one.
The small road that runs along the beach is lined with cafes and (mainly fish) restaurants. There are also a few hotels. The area is not that well known with tourists but it is a great alternative to staying in the old town: you have a beach on your doorstep, parking space for you car, some of the best fish restaurants in town and you are only 10 minutes on foot (walking along the sea front) from the Venetian harbour and the centre of the Old Town.
