Tampakaria started in the 70's and today
only one tenth of the tanneries are still in business. The remains of
the old tanneries are monuments of industrial archeology. Many of the
old tanneries are today abandoned and ruined, some are preserved and
have a different use, and some are still in business. The only thing
that remained intact is their architecture. Adjusted to the natural
landscape, the tanneries have a ground floor by the front street
entrance and two or three floors by the seaside. They are stone-built
and have a tiled roof. The tanneries, built in a row, characterize this
district of unique architecture.
The ground floor hosts a shop and totals 98mē.
An apartment is found on the first floor, which totals 83mē and consists of a living area, a spacious kitchen, two sizable bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a big balcony which enjoys superb sea vistas!
A penthouse is located on the second floor ( 102mē) which is accessed with an external staircase and consists of a second kitchen, an open plan reception area, two bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a large veranda, perfect for endless moments of relaxation right by the sea!
An amazing detail is that the penthouse can be accessed by a sideroad that leads directly to the sea! So, it looks like it's located on the ground floor as well!
The building was built in 1987. This 290mē building is only a breath away from the crystal sea!
You won't find anything to compare with the extreme privacy and many features this property offers!
Located above sea level, the building enjoys wonderful sea breezes and incredible sunsets.
The privileged residential location and its close proximity to the port, beach and sea is an advantage that should not be underestimated and a not insignificant element of the true value!
Most of the old building in the area have been abandoned today, but some have been renovated to serve as hotels, restaurants and shops.
A rare opportunity, now available in a competetive price!
