The bedrooms have panoramic floor to ceiling windows towards the terrace and the wonderful sea. The bathrooms are shaped and handcrafted in stone and natural materials.

The villas have a large sheltered “backyard” comprising a living area with room for sun beds, plus a separate area for dining and barbequing.
From the sheltered “backyard” full view to the sea is achieved through glass panels in the back wall of the house.

Crete is today one of the leading tourist destinations in Europe.
This part of Crete is established as a high potential development area, for both tourism and holiday homes, and attracts developers from mainland Greece, Cyprus and other European countries. This is due to the variety this region can offer regarding vacation and recreation, with its wonderful nature including the best beaches and high mountains. The region is especially fertile due to unlimited and cheap water supply from large underground lakes in the White Mountain area. Access to fresh water is a necessity for development of property and tourism, and a serious problem for many other islands in Greece and elsewhere in the Mediterranean.
Located in a quiet village with a lovely, sandy, organized beach nearby in a small bay, approx. 13km northeast of Chania, 20min form the international airport of Chania and 30min form the port of Souda. Two more sandy beaches can be found in Kalathas (3km) and in Stavros (4km) with soft sand and clear waters.
In the area are a few nice taverns and cafes. For the daily shopping it is recommended the nearby village of Chorafakia (1km) where you can find a few shops and taverns. In Chorafakia is also a bus stop with frequent transportation with the centre of Chania. Due to the availability of the Chania airport (located at a distance of 13km) there is direct access to the area through international regular and charter flights. Moreover there is ferry-boat connection between Athens/Piraeus and Souda Bay (15km). Chania city has all necessary infrastructure, health care and commercial facilities.
Akrotiri is an area for nature experiences and exciting hikes in all areas. While parts of the Akrotiri coast are cliffs, there are many beautiful beaches, most of them well protected by bays and not affected by the “meltemia” (northern summer winds). Some of these are Stavros (the beach where the movie Zorba was filmed), Kalathas, Tersanas, and Marathi. All are well kept and clean, and are awarded the European Blue Flag annually.
The views from most parts of Akrotiri are unique; the White Mountains, Souda Bay with the area of Apokoronas beyond, the sea, the town of Chania, the north coast, and the distant peninsulas of Rodopou and Gramvoussa can all be seen from Akrotiri. In addition there are views to the countryside known for its fertile land and large areas of olive groves and vineyards.
Its dry climate combined with the sea breeze forms an ideal environment not only for residents but also for the fruit and vegetables produced which are renowned for their high quality and taste.
Akrotiri has approx. 10.000 inhabitants. Some of them live in the charming and traditional villages; others live in attractive small new suburbs of Profitis Ilias, Kounoupidiana, Korakies, Kalathas, Agios Ounoufrios, etc. Kounoupidiana serves as the “centre” of Akrotiri and offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and other services, and is in addition home to The Polytechnic University of Crete. The road network is good and with frequent bus service to Chania.
