Entering the property one faces the living and dining area. Further on, a hall is found via a nice, small, and wooden door. On the right side, there is the kitchen with an internal window to the living area and an exit to the front yard. On the left side is a good sized tiled bathroom toilet, sink and shower. The living and dining area also leads through to a twin-bedded room and a double bedroom with its own exit to the outdoors. An external stair leads to a large roof terrace, where one can enjoy the clean blue sky, the Mountain View or gaze at the stars at night.
It's worth noting that the house has a number of wooden windows and shutters that let the air and sun light in.
The house is fully furnished and equipped and ready to move in. It is also provided with air-conditioning connections (a/c) and has large calibre drainage pipes for the toilet.
Location
The peace that dominates the area, make it the perfect opportunity for one who wants to have a qualitative and tranquil way of life. Furthermore, it isn't far from amenities and modern facilities and the beaches are just a few minutes drive away.
Polemarhi itself has a small, friendly mini-market and kafenion. There are superb views from around the Polemarhi village down to the coast, and to the White Mountains inland.
Nearby Tavronitis is a real Cretan village at the mouth of a small river with local bars and shops open all the year round. Tavronitis beach is an easy short stroll from the Tavronitis village centre. This can be one of the emptiest and quietest beaches in this stretch of coast west of Chania. Tavronitis beach is mostly pebbly and very peaceful, a very relaxing place bordered by trees and with several relaxed taverns by the sea. A few more facilities and tavernas are found at the neighbouring resort of Kolimbari. There are further relatively low-key resorts with good beaches on this part of the Crete coast like Gerani and Maleme.
