Crossing the stone fencing, the spacious plot with the nice barbeque and the stone oven, covered with pergola, one reaches the two maisonettes. The elevated ground floor in both properties hosts a comfortable enough living area and a kitchen with household appliances (washing machine, cooker) and nice cupboards. The ground floor has an exit to a large veranda with great sea view. An internal staircase leads to the upper floor, where two bedrooms and a bathroom (sink, basin, bathtube) can be found. The one bedroom is fitted with a wardrobe and the other has a small cloak room. The basement houses a large space with fireplace that can be used as a playroom or guest room and a bathroom.

Akrotiri is a round shaped peninsula at the east of Chania. This area has a long history with lots of monuments, natural beauty and beautiful sandy beaches.
The area consists of many scenic villages that worth visiting. One of them is the famous Stavros, where the famous movie “Zorba, the Greek” was filmed. The region hosts many old and historic monasteries as the Monastery of “Agia Triada ton Tsagarolon” (Holy Trinity) built in the 17th century, the Monastery of “Agios Ioannis Erimitis or Xenos” (Saint John Hermite) since 7th century. A cave attracts the interest in the area, where a stalagmite evokes a bear and the cave is named “Arkoudiotissa” or “Arkouda” (Bear in Greek). A small church in honour of Virgin Mary can be found in this cave.
The famous tombs of the Venizelos family are worth visiting, where the important Greek politician of the early 20th century, Eleftherios Venizelos was buried.
