A stone traditional house of 114m², in which a room named “Ontas” covers 24m². The house is totally renovated to high standards with traditional arches, fireplace, wooden staircase and ceilings.
The house is aged 100 years, full of memories and running over the tradition.
Crossing one of the paths to the spacious garden with the grass and the variety of trees one reaches the house. The palm trees, lemon trees, pears, bananas, avocados give a special, calm and totally natural atmosphere to the property.
Entering the building one faces the open plan living room with the cosy fireplace in the center of the room, attracting the attention of any visitor. The kitchen is connected to the living area and it is equipped with many white cupboards. The dining room hosts up to 10 people and has an exit to the outdoors. Exploring the ground floor, one finds a spacious bedroom and a bathroom.
A nice wooden stair leads to the upper level, where “Ontas” is and another bedroom exists.
The house is totally fitted with all the household appliances and fully furnished. There is also provision for central heating.
Location
The Mithimnis municipality consists of many traditional communities. All of the villages lie among a rich layer of vegetation and wild nature. In easily reachable distances you can explore manny gorges like the one in Voulgaro or Topolia, Rokka, Sassalo and Malathyros as well as a number of churches.
Worth visiting is the cave of Agia Sofia (Saint Sofia)in Katsomatado, where you can find many stalagmites as well. In a near village you can visit the archaeological site of Mithimna and the Venetian Villa Trevizan. You can also view the house of Manos Katrakis and the Komolithoi. Finally in another village nearbly you can enjoy the sea, camping and the stone outdoor theatre.
