Set on a 800m plot, the hotel, fully renovated in 2005, is in excellent condition and comprises 10 fully furnished apartments:
  • 6 single-room apartments
  • 3 two-room apartments
  • 1 three-room apartment
  • a loft
More specifically the hotel rooms include:

a)1 sofa-bed in all the single-room apartments (6 beds + 6 sofa-beds = 12 person)

b)2 sofa-beds in all the two-room apartments (6 beds + 6 sofa-beds = 12 persons)

c)1 sofa bed in the three-room apartment (3 beds + 1 sofa-bed = 4 persons)

That is 28 persons can be accommodated in all the apartments of the hotel in total.


All lodgings have spacious balconies, most enjoying views of the sea and all with views to the swimming pool and come fully furnished, with air-conditioning and solar water panels

The hotel also features:
  • Spacious reception
  • Large swimming pool (approx. 65m)
  • Landscaped gardens
  • Marble floors

The hotel was rented in 2005, in 2006 it was booked guarantee for 45.000 Euros for the season. In 2007 it was also as room allotment hotel.
Since then, the bookings were made through allotment cooperation with Greek tour operators and no hotel's website is in place.

The income in the years 2007 and 2008 were annually approximately 35.000 Euros.

Approximate annual running costs were:
  • Connected to agricultural and town water; approximate annual costs for town water: 300 Euros, approximate annual costs for agricultural water (Garden and Pool): 200 Euros.
  • Power consumption: 400 Euros every 2 months during the season
  • Swimming pool expenses: Cleaning was performed by the owner and the costs for the chemicals were approx. 300 Euros / year.
  • Employees: As a family business; only employed staff is a cleaner during the season, working every day except Sunday from 09:00 - 13:00. Expenses: 500 Euros plus 250 Euros IKA insurance per month.
  • Security personnel is not obligatory.
At the moment as the owner due to lack of time running his other businesses sells his hotel.

The hotel is not operating fully at the moment. The previous years the hotel was operating during the entire season, but the last years he only opens the hotel during the high season, that is July and August.
The restaurant (taverna) in front of the hotel is a family one with very affordable prices and preferred all these years by the clients of the hotel. It is open since 1985 (before the building of the hotel) and operates from May until October every year.
As the swimming pool of the hotel has a depth of 2,60m (the maximum point, the minimum is 0,60m), according to the regulation, a lifeguard is needed.

It's also worth mentioning that the hotel is an SA Company and is sold as one.This means that the tax fees are significantly lower.This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to reach this hotel's potential to maximum!



Location


A peaceful patch of Crete, blessed with a never-ending pebble beach, Maleme was made for sun-worship. Maleme is a historical, seaside, quiet village, 16 km west of the city of Chania, which is developed around the church of Agios Antonios. It is built on small hills, between the small rivers Tavronitis and Geranis, surrounded by olive trees, orange trees and vineyards. Along the old National Road which passes through Maleme there are located all the everyday facilities; a supermarket, a butcher, a public Medicine Centre, Police Department, pharmacy, mini-markets. There are many cafes, taverns and restaurants dispersed from the centre of the village to the beach a few hundreds meters to the north; a long belt of pretty pebbles washed by bright blue waters.
