The Israelis vote for Crete
Impressive was also in May the increase of tourists from Israel who consider the island one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean.
In May more than 15.000 Israelis were found in Crete, while this upward trend continues in June and July. As stated by the Israelites who visited Crete, they feel the absolute safety, considering the Cretan beaches, food and nightlife strong cards of the Greek tourism industry.
