Positive messages for tourism in Crete by the exhibition in Moscow!
Positive prospects appear for tourism in Crete by the international tourist exhibition "MITT 2012 Travel and Tourism" in Moscow, which opened its doors today, brought together jointly by the Region of Crete and tour operators-businessmen to the island.
"Positive are the messages, the prospects for increased tourism in Crete from the market of Russia and other Eastern European countries." said the district commissioner of Crete Stavros Arnaoutakis, who attended the inauguration and met with representatives of tourism organizations, and spoke to a business forum of tourism.
At the same time was "booked" through the Greek Embassy in Russia, the visit of TV channels in Crete, which will highlight the history and tourism of the island abroad. Also, there was an agreement for Crete to be advertised for one month in Moscow subway, where every day hundreds of thousands of people are traveling with.
Finally, Mr. Arnaoutakis in his speach to the tourist businessmen and also at the meetings with foreign delegations, sent an open invitation to the island, highlighting the history, culture, natural beauties and advantages, such as the excellent climatic conditions, sun and sea.
