Successfully was completed the campaign for Greece in Harrods store at London. The company C & L Media Ltd., which had organized and the corresponding campaign for Greece during February 2009, then for the EOT, this year achieved a very significant visibility for tourism in our country.
The private initiative of the C & L Media, Greece raised in central London the most important period, from December 26 until 23 January 2010, including the Christmas, New Year and Sales. According to the statistics of Harrods, visitors and transit surpassed a total of 3.5 million with the interest of Londoners for Greece to revives.
The campaign involved the Prefecture of the Cyclades, the Dodecanese Prefecture, the Prefecture of Rethymnon, the Prefecture of Lassithi, the Prefecture of Chania, the Prefecture of Magnesia, the Prefecture of Messinia, the City of Kos, the Municipality of Laganas and the Costa Navarino in 12 central windows on the Brompton Road.
In addition, two other "live" exhibition showcases worked with staff in the main facade of the building Harrods recreating traditional Greek scenery and ancient Greek theater, whilst for the first time during sales period, the great contest organized by the Harrods for the island of Rhodes and the Rodos Palace, brought together a really large number of interest.
Many visitors wrote in the commemorative album their impressions and their desire to visit Greece soon, and thousands of copies of the "Greece 2010" editiona, was distributed free to all visitors to the campaign. Under the slogan and title of the journal Greece 2010 "You have 2010 reasons to visit Greece," the response to the campaign left a strong message to the capital of England.
